Studio Description, Procedures and Guidelines
Bend Yoga Center believes in the ripple effect. When a pebble is dropped into the center of a pond, you can observe the ripples as they spread out in all directions. Bend Yoga Center seeks to provide a space that serves as a central point for students to explore and experience the benefits of yoga. We are guided by the idea that the positive resonations that begin at Bend Yoga Center can spread far beyond the point of impact.
The studio first opened in 2004 as a strictly Bikram studio, and we were located near the Deschutes River in the Old Mill. Following this, our next manifestation, beginning in circa 2016, was Bend Hot Yoga. Through the years, our yoga studio has evolved to encompass a wide range of classes beyond what we initially offered.
Our classes are at varying temperatures. Classes include 26 & 2 Hot Yoga (formerly known as Bikram or Original Hot Yoga), 26 & Tunes, Vinyasa, Inferno Hot Pilates, Sculpt, Yin, Kundalini, Restorative, Reiki Flow, Yogalates and more. We believe all the different lineages and styles of yoga complement each other, and we are committed to offering students the opportunity to practice as many types of yoga as possible.
Our studio is in the midtown area of Bend, easily accessible from all directions. You can find us at: 1230 NE Third St. Suite A230 Bend, OR 97701.
Bend Yoga Center strives to provide a welcoming and supportive space for all people. Conduct deemed inappropriate will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action up to and including revocation of access to the studio by any person.
Our Studio has two rooms for practice – The Radiant Room and The Treehouse. We have full restrooms for men and women, with each providing two showers and products such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash from Dani Naturals, which are handcrafted in Bend. We offer free lockers, a water filling station and water bottle rentals, mat and towel rentals, retail items for purchase, and breathtaking views of the Cascade Range mountains.
The Radiant Room
Approximately 1,100 square feet, The Radiant Room is outfitted with 18 infrared heaters allowing us a full temperature range up to 106°F. If you have never practiced in a studio with radiant heat, you are in for a treat. Our heaters produce radiant heat waves, which work to heat up our body, and because the human body is made up of mostly water, this infrared heat transfers effectively and can help gently increase blood circulation, rid the body of toxins and provide pain relief. They are silent and do not blow dust or allergens like traditional HVAC.
The floor is Lonwood Performa and features an anti-fatigue, cushioned-step, closed-cell foam-backing that is designed specifically for high-traffic and high-impact aerobic and fitness activities. A wood-grain sheet, it is ergonomically designed, sound-absorbing and helps prevent injuries and is ideal for yoga applications. It is extremely easy to clean and disinfect after each class. Using a padded yoga mat on our floor is required, and a mat towel is highly recommended for any hot classes.
The Treehouse
Approximately 700 square feet, classes in The Treehouse are more intimate, and temperatures will range from 65°F to 85°F with traditional HVAC. The faux wood multiuse floor is easy to clean and disinfect after each class. A yoga mat is highly recommended.
The Treehouse is equipped with bolsters, blankets, straps, and blocks, which are used for various classes in this studio, such as Yin, Restorative, Kundalini, and more.

If at any point you know you will not take the class, you should cancel your reservation and remove yourself from the waitlist. If there are students on the waitlist at the studio, we will take spots from any students not checked in 5 minutes before class and give them to students on the waitlist.

- No-shows will be charged $24 and if reserved with a single visit or class pack, a class will be taken.
- If you are not well, do not come to the studio. Use our virtual class options instead.

Extra Notes

- Guidelines will be monitored and updated as necessary.
- We are taking appropriate steps to clean and sanitize between each class.
- We understand that each class can bring a unique experience to each student. Take your time acclimating to the heat as needed. If at any point it is overwhelming, adjust your intensity. You have the ability to control this and to dial up or down as you are able. Know that, as always, we understand if you need to take a break or do less. Resting when the system is overworked is necessary, and we trust you know what is best for you.
